Binh Duong’s Flower Village Blooms in Anticipation of New Year

Covering an area of almost 10 hectares, farmers cultivate a variety of beautiful flowers for Tet, including chrysanthemums, marigolds, cockscombs, and sunflowers.

In order for the flowers to bloom on time for the festive season, farmers in Tan Ba closely monitor the weather forecast to properly care for the flowers.

This year, farmers in Tan Ba flower village are excited as the flowers are in full bloom thanks to favorable weather conditions.

Currently, many traders from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong have come to Tan Ba to make deposits and wait for the day to cut flowers for sale. According to local residents, flowers from Tan Ba flower village are mainly used for altar decoration during Tet, so farmers do not have to worry about selling the flowers.

Each year, the people in Tan Ba only grow one crop of flowers. Economically, it may not bring much profit, but due to their great passion for growing Tet flowers, the local people continue the tradition from generation to generation.

Tan Ba is the only flower village in Binh Duong. Therefore, during the days leading up to Tet, many tourists from all over choose to visit and take selfies.

With the increasing rate of urbanization and the gradual shrinking of agricultural land, residents in Tan Ba have preserved the land for agriculture and flower cultivation.
